6-month-old Carla is mostly cared for by her grandmother, as her parents are both working. Her grandmother prefers to carry Carla around to keep her safe and often avoids placing her on the floor to allow her to move or explore. Her parents are concerned because Carla has not started rolling over or reaching for objects yet.
