Mrs. Reyes, a 65-year-old female, was admitted to the hospital with confusion, weakness and hyponatremia. Laboratory results revealed low serum osmolality and high urine osmolality. The physician suspects syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone ( SIADH ).
