Mr. Santos, a 55-year-old male, presents to the clinic with joint pain, swelling and stiffness in his hands and feet. He also complains of fatigue and occasional fever. On physical examination, the nurse notes symmetrical joint swelling and tenderness. Laboratory results show elevated rheumatoid factor and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide ( Anti-ccp ) antibodies.
