Mr. Santos, a 55-year-old male, presents to the emergency department with sudden onset of shortness of breath, chest pain and cough. He has a history of deep vein thrombosis ( DVT ) in his left leg. On physical examination, he is tachypneic, Tachycardic and has decreased breath sounds on the right side of his chest.
