Mr. Santos, a 65-year-old male, was admitted to the medical-surgical unit with a diagnosis of pneumonia. He has a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD ) and is currently on home oxygen therapy. The Interdisciplinary Team consists of a physician, nurse, respiratory therapist and pharmacist.
